Hi there!
I am super jazzed to start this little adventure called Blogging… This is all new to me and I feel like, in some obnoxious sounding way, I’m going through puberty all over again… I have a mix of emotions between excitement and anxiety regarding the Wonderful World of Blogging. However, I love to write, read, network, and LOVE to make new friends. I hope you enjoy my blog about my daily adventures, complicated questions, and general life situations!
As you prepare to glimpse into Gina’s world (that’s me!), here is some basic information about myself (in no apparent order)….
- First, I am quickly approaching the dreaded 3-0! Yep, 30 yrs old. Please don’t bring it up too much or I might dislike you greatly.
- I have a lovely four year old daughter that I’m so proud and amazed by each day. Claudia is my absolute pride and joy! I enjoy our precious moments together and I can now officially play Barbie dolls again and it’s not weird at all!
- I love wine and the simple but relaxing day spent wine tasting. So much so, that I am now a member of a wine club. I enjoy it, it’s relaxing, and it’s a fun way to socialize…
- I try to work out often, sometimes happily, sometimes begrudgingly. I have to get my heart rate up some way and my friend and I have much fun while doing it. She’s the cutest work out partner a girl could ask for, so it’s definitely a win, win!
- I am in a relationship with a terrific man who is my best friend! Jonathan is the absolute best man I could have prayed for (or hoped for if you don’t believe in that). Sometimes we laugh about the most serious or stupid things, life with him is much sweeter then anything I’ve ever experienced.
- There is nothing better then a coffee date or a drink at a classy resturant one-on-one with a dear friend! I feel blessed to have so many ladies in my life that I may call “friend” and each one teaches me in so many ways! I am thankful for the amazing relationships I have.
- I love Jesus and the cool things I learn from The Bible. I’m not a huge “church” fan, I used to be very involved in church. While I have some fond memories that I will cherish forever, I also am more attune to the hypocrisy that goes on in most post modern churches and I have a hard time wanting to be involved in that.. I’m working through this.
- I love to decorate my house and cleaning is therapeutic for me. I absolutely love my home and my surrounding neighborhood. I live in an quaint, charming, and old established neighborhood in a suburban town outside of Sacramento, CA.
- I love consignment shopping! 90% of the clothing, jewelry, and shoes I own I have purchased from a few resale Boutiques in my area. My heart skips a beat when I find a STEAL of a deal! Also, it helps with the budget for all my retail therapy sessions!
Well, that’s a brief summary of me… Keep following my postings and I will surely elaborate in more detail regarding the above topics that make up my life. I hope my writing will be clear, frequent, and bring delight to your life! Many smiles just around the corner…..
